Νεκρικὲς Τελετές - Rites for the Deceased

For three months this summer, from Summer Solstice to Autumn Equinox, Rites and Offerings take place for the Deceased. For Heros and Ancestors, and for Souls that in the recent year were led to death by Injustice and malicious deeds. Water and wine may be offered near tombs or spilled on ground, and boiled seeds with honey may be prepared and left for them.
This is a Time for us to do them Honour. Silence... let the Feasts for the Deceased begin. May their Souls find peace and travel to their resting place.

Γιὰ τρεῖς μῆνες αὐτὸ τὸ καλοκαίρι, ἀπὸ τὸ Θερινὸ Ἡλιοστάσιο ἕως τὴν Φθινοπωρινὴ Ἰσημερία, λαμβάνουν χώρα Νεκρικὲς Τελετὲς καὶ Προσφορές. Γιὰ τοὺς Ἥρωες καὶ Προγόνους, καὶ γιὰ τὶς Ψυχὲς ποὺ τὰ πρόσφατα ἔτη ὀδηγήθηκαν στὸν θάνατο ἀπὸ Ἀδικία καὶ πράξεις κακές. Ὕδωρ καὶ οἶνος μποροῦν νὰ προσφερθοῦν κοντὰ σὲ τάφους ἢ σὲ σπονδὲς στὸ ἔδαφος, καὶ βραστοὶ σπόροι μὲ μέλι μποροῦν νὰ ἐτοιμασθοῦν καὶ νὰ ἀφεθοῦν γι' αὐτούς.
Εἶναι ὁ Καιρός γιὰ έμὰς νὰ τοὺς ἀποδώσουμε Τιμές. Σιωπή... ἂς ἀρχίσουν οἱ Ἑορτὲς γιὰ τοὺς Νεκρούς. Εἶθε οἱ Ψυχὲς τους νὰ εὕρουν εἰρήνη καὶ νὰ ταξιδέψουν στὸν τόπο ἀνάπαυσεώς τους.
